Alicante (or Alacant in Valencian, one of the official languages of the Valencian Community) is the capital and the largest city of the province which is well connected with nearby towns. You can enjoy a tour of the coast of the province by TRAM and even you will arrive to your destination! If you prefer you can go by car, it takes less than half an hour.
Lucentum was the name given to the Iberian-Roman city that was located in Alicante. Today is one of the most important and best preserved Roman cities of the Comunidad Valenciana.
