Live the sweet experience of the Valor Chocolate Museum with an English free tour
In 1881, Valeriano López Lloret founded Chocolates Valor in Villajoyosa with a great experience in the production of chocolate because his relatives were dedicated to it from some decades ago.
Being this a family business, at the end of XIX century, Valeriano’s son took charge of the company and introduced mechanically power. Since this first change, the company has been transforming, growing and adapting to the market evolution. Chocolates Valor has a great concern about product excellence and, nowadays, the company is working in more than 45 countries with a wide variety of chocolates.
Discover the Valor Chocolate Museum, which also was named the Valencian Museum of Chocolate. Visitors can learn about its chocolate heritage, its upkeep and research work, just 1200 meters from Camping Alicante Imperium. The duration of the visit is 45 minutes. You will see an audiovisual presentation and a panoramic view of the interior of the factory. It is a guided tour that ends with a chocolate tasting in the shop. It is a free visit, but there is a capacity of 50 people.
And if you are in Villajoyosa, a city with a great tradition of chocolatiers, why don’t you have breakfast or a snack at Chocolateria Valor? Enjoy chocolate with churros with fantastic views. Delicious!
